Joshua aka Paladin One

Yes, that is a Pikachu on my hat. He and I were definitely the most popular display of character at my graduation ceremony. All around us you could hear small children say, “Pikachu. It’s Pikachu.” They also had me on the display monitors a lot. It was an awesome ending to an awesome time at college.

My name is Joshua but I go by Paladin One here. I have a Bachelor’s of Mass Communication with a focus in public relations and a minor in art (I wanted to see if a nerd, who’d never done art before, could learn to be proficient at it). I also have most of an associates degree in radio-tv-film (although I still need to finish the two Japanese language requirements). I worked for Blizzard Entertainment, Bandai America and even Disneyland, once upon a time. I was homeschooled from kindergarten through 8 grade when Troy high school in Fullerton, California, It was a real a real treat, even if I was awkward at first.

My parents were both raised Catholic before they converted to Protestantism. (Protestantism is the technical term for what most people call Christian. Both Catholicism and Christianity and Lutheranism are forms of Christianity as they are all Christ based. Modern slang has us saying Catholic, Christian and Lutheran, however.) I essentially grew up in a Protestant-Christian culture with strong Catholic-Christian roots and ethics.

My goal here is to disseminate the philosophy of Christianity as social tools for living a good and wealthy life (honestly I think of it as the poet-samurai). We’ll see if I’m any good.
